National Renewable Energy Lab

The NREL project is a design build, turnkey fixed price deliver project with Haselden Construction as the design builder, RNL as the architect and interior designer, and Stantec as the MEP consultant. The Research Support Facilities is a 218,000 square foot office project that is designed to become one of the largest net zero energy buildings of its kind. This elegant solution expresses a scientific and environmental aesthetic. The building is designed to become a living educational tool, immediately understandable to the lay person, yet firmly rooted in a rigorous collaboration of planning, architecture, systems engineering and construction.
